Drini Beach, a calm beach with coral island located in Banjarejo Village, Tanjungsari, Gunungkidul. It has a small island that dividing the beach into two parts, namely east and west. The east coast has calmer waves and the west is more choppy. The small coral island is overgrown with drini trees which are believed by the public to be able to ward off poisonous snakes. Visitors can climb the cliffs of the coral island through concrete stairs and bamboo roads. It takes about a 2-hour drive from Yogyakarta to reach Drini Beach. Visitors can enjoy plenty of fish, white sand, and coral island.
