Grojogan Sewu is a waterfall located in Kulon Progo. The name “Grojogan” comes from the Javanese word for “falling water,” and “Sewu” means “a thousand” in Javanese, reflecting the numerous cascades of the waterfall. The name indicates that the waterfall features many tiers, creating a cascading effect. Visitors can see multiple waterfalls flowing one after another, giving the impression of a series of steps. This natural attraction is known for its clear water. Grojogan Sewu is located close to other attractions such as Kembang Soka Waterfall, Kedung Pedut Waterfall, and Mudal River Eco-tourism.
