Kedung Pedut Waterfall is a natural tourist attraction that has recently become popular, especially among young people. Even foreign tourists have been flocking to this site, which has been open since February 2015. Kedung Pedut is located in Jatimulyo Village, Girimulyo District, Kulon Progo Regency. This waterfall is part of the Jatimulyo Tourism Village. In Javanese, “Kedung” means pool, and “Pedut” means mist. The name comes from the heavy flow of water creating a misty effect around the pool when it falls.

Another unique feature of this attraction is its clear water, which changes color to a stunning turquoise. It takes about a 2-hour road trip from Yogyakarta. From the parking location, we have to walk about 500m to get to the location of the waterfall, through the path that has been blocked. Along the way to Kedung Pedut it is very shady and the cleanliness of the location is well maintained. Kedung Pedut Waterfall is adjacent to Kembang Soka Waterfall and Mudal River Ecotourism. The best route of Kedung Pedut can be reached approximately 50km to the west from the city of Yogyakarta. The path that can be used is through Godean Road to the west.
